Commercial Welding and Fabrication Projects
Concept to Finish Custom Fabrication
For over 35 years we have performed a wide variety of welding and fabrication projects. From the design, maintenance, and fabrication of small metal structures, to the implementation of industrial and architectural metal fabrication projects, we have done it all. KLK Welding can help you complete your project whether you have the idea in your head or hand drawn on paper. We have 3D drawing programs geared towards all facets of the industry. We have Tekla Structures for any structural and miscellaneous metal needs. We have various 3D modeling programs for any parts, machines, and assemblies you could think of. We can run FEA analysis on these parts and assemblies to load test, stress test, buckle test, etc. From these 3D drawings we can take the parts and show them fully rendered realistically on the computer and even have them 3D printed for you to see in person before actual fabrication ever begins.
If you can imagine it, we can bring it to life.
Our engineers can show you what your concept looks like using our Solidworks software drafting service.
You can present your ideas and we can provide engineering, design and drafting. All in one service from design to fabrication.

Burkentine Builders Inc. – window frame
Fabrication and installation of custom window frame for a local home builder’s new office space. The frames were tig-welded. The materials used for this project were square hot-rolled tube with flat bar stops for glass to rest on. Learn more about the benefits of – and options for – our glass walls here.
Keith Smith Concrete – railing
Fabricated 1¼” Schedule 40 Pipe guardrail in customer parking lot. The railings were required due to elevation changes in the parking lot to ground level near the building. A field measure was completed after embed sleeves were installed in concrete wall. The new rails were powder-coated green to match the existing railings onsite in other locations.
Keith Smith Concrete – toolbox
Custom fabricated work truck toolbox made from hot rolled angle and expanded metal. The toolbox was fabricated to increase organization in the bed of the customer’s work truck. The customer provided size requirements for all tools and miscellaneous parts storage and the toolbox was designed accordingly.
Maintenance ship ladder
Fabrication of maintenance ship ladder for customer conveyor. Our customer required safer access for maintenance and repair work of all conveyor equipment when needed. The ships ladder was built from hot rolled channel, square tubing and angle. To finish off this project, the ladder was fitted with steel grate treads that were bolted on after installation.
Saint Joseph’s Cemetery gate
Fabrication and installation of cemetery arch and entry gate. The arch was constructed with square tubing. The gate was built with flat bar, square pickets with finials and round rings. For a durable long-lasting exterior, the arch and gate were finished with a powder coat.
Grates
Custom fabricated material handling cart for cardboard tubes. Additional carts were required by the customer to meet current increase in demand for products. The carts are fabricated from hot rolled square tubing and powder coated to the customer’s specific company color.
Work table
Fabricated worktables for customer production facility. The table was constructed using square tubing with 14-gauge shelves. The final product was powder coated to match the customer’s company color.
Custom dust collector
Custom dust collector exhaust piping. This pipe was designed, cut out and formed specifically to fit around busy factory obstructions. The corners were welded all the way around to ensure an airtight non-leak weldment.
Engine pull tool
This is a true concept-to-finish project. This airplane engine repair tool was designed, engineered, and fabricated in house. The tool was made from hot rolled steel tube. A custom conveyor system was implemented into the design. This is used for engine removal. The final product was powder coated with a black finish.
Tire mount
Custom fabricated job box for a truck’s spare tire. The plate was MIG welded to the inside of the job box.
Air compressor mezzanine
Fabrication and installation of air compressor mezzanine over existing equipment. This mezzanine was constructed of steel beams and diamond plate. The rails are removable for required maintenance of equipment. The access ladder was constructed from flat bar and rebar rungs with a self-closing gate at top. The final product was powder-coated safety yellow and black.
Burkentine Builders Inc. – kneewall window
Fabrication of kneewall window for a customer’s restaurant. This was constructed from 2″ x 2″ and 1¼” x 1¼” square tube and welded using the MIG process. For concealing purposes, the customer will construct a wall around the post once installed. A clear finish will be applied by customer at later date.
Production tables
Custom fabrication of tables for customer production line to help with efficiency for employees. The table was constructed of square tubing and flat plate with corner pieces applied so material skid does not come off. The final product was powder-coated safety yellow.
Vertical Opening Entrance Gates
Side Panels
Fabricated side panels for a flat bed truck
